Hey you ! Yeah you ! Do you like old school hip hop ? Do you like fat greasy burgers ? I’m talking Big Pun fat and greasy, not Eric Cartman fat and greasy. Yeah ? I got a place for you homie: BBOYZ.
Located in the 9th district of Paris, just a few steps away from the Sacré Cœur (so your burger and beer are followed by a romantic BBQ-sauce-flavored kiss session), its originality resides in its theme : Hip-Hop. Which means dance, street-art and above all, rap. Good rap. Real rap. Old rap. 80s-90s kinda rap. I bet you weren’t born at the time so I don’t know if it means anything to you.
While you choose your meal on a beautiful menu printed on a vinyl record cover, Wu-Tang, NWA or IAM (franch rap group) tickle your ears. On this vinyl cover, a large choice of first courses, burgers, breadless burgers (house speciality) and of course beverages, with a special priced cocktail of the day. With your burger, french fries, vegetable french fries or well seasoned chips at customer’s choice, accompanied by some salad. You can also « Pimp your burger » (written on the menu, didn’t invent it) by adding cheddar, meat, bacon, anything that inspires you ! Special note for the check brought to you in a cassette tape case. Anyway, in case you didn’t notice: I effin love that place.
So, what are you still doing here ? Not hungry yet ? Go get that burger before Dre comes top slap you like he did to Dee Barnes. Click here to discover the menu.
My personal favourite burger : the Cypress Hill. Insane guacamole. Bon appétit !
